Ground Coordinator

We are launching a new application for the role of ground coordinator to join our team. To help deliver and support our work in Northern France.

Are you:

  • Able to lead a team of volunteers through empowerment and fostering independence and autonomy.

  • Experienced in working with teenagers aged 12 to 18 in a paid voluntary capacity.

  • Have an understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

  • Experience in upholding the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection.

  • Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months.

  • Committed to anti-racism and standing in solidarity with people on the move.

Volunteer Facilitator

Duration: Minimum 6 weeks

Applications are always open for volunteers to join our team as youth work facilitators in Northern France, Calais and Dunkirk. Availability fluctuates across the year, so we encourage early applications.

Volunteer Instructor

Duration: 1 week

Applications are always open for volunteers to join our team as volunteer instructors. This is a short-term role, to develop specific projects and workshops for the teenagers we work alongside.


Workshops we are interested in:

  • graffiti artists, yoga instructors, musicians, skateboarding coach, carpenters, sports coaches and visual artists - this list is by no means exhaustive.

 You will be supported by the Kaleidoscope team to develop your workshop or project in line with the context we work in, and the changing needs of the young people.
