Project Proposal
Like all great ideas we started with a proposal, planning what this would all look like. Including content such as our reasons for the project, strategies and activities, performance indicators, monitoring and evaluation and budgets. A kaleidoscope is a toy that uses mirrors and light to reflect an object or material, bouncing in multiple directions to make beautiful and intricate repeating patterns. For us these colours and patterns are symbols of change and growth, and the symmetry and tessellation of these patterns represent balance and harmony. In some cultures kaleidoscopes are tools for meditation and self reflection.
We love the kaleidoscope as a symbol for creativity and growth and a celebration of all that makes us unique, vibrant individuals. The core aim of our work is to support young people in the uncertainty and chaos inflicted upon them by providing safe, fun spaces for them to be teenagers, discovering and growing in their identity, self expression and skills.
